Awareness through movement

Awareness through movement

This group decided to make a short video on how to use e-mails and Google search. The logic behind this was these are the two most common aspects of anyone with any digital presence has to know their was around. The goal of this video was to create awareness among first time or infrequent internet users about the benefits and conveniences of emails and a search engine.

The video was a tutorial about how to send email and various features of the Google search engines many people may be unaware of and would help them in their day to day life.

The one minute 40 second video, was kept concise so as to not lose out on the viewer’s attention. It was straight forward with it first showing how to send emails and then showing features of Google like tip calculation at restaurants, a calorie intake manager and one which kept track of ones stocks. There were also instructions on how to use Google’s event planner for weddings among other things.

The thinking behind showcasing these features is that in a digital India, people biggest gains with improvements in and better amalgamation of technology should be to make their lives easier. The features discussed in the video all help to achieve those goals. A lot of mundane and time consuming tasks can be expedited with the help of technology. This can help people free up their live to accommodate more useful and productive tasks.
