SSE at Arthanomics 2017
SSE has always been active in participating in fests all across India. Recently,
the SSE contingent that went to the Jai Hind college fest – Arthanomics (7th-9th Sept. 2017),won praise by bagging the 3rd position in the overall championship. SSE students were finalists in 6 competitions which were all major events such as MUN, Parliamentary Debate and Quiz. Being economic students, they lived up to the SSE name by performing competently in Marketing, Auction and Trading events as well.
SSE won the following at Arthanomics:1. MUN:
- a) Dipatarka Roy- Special Mention.
- b) Aisha Intesar- High Commendation.
2. Parliamentary debate:
- a) Ratnab Mukerjei- Best speaker.
- b) Ratnab, Rajas and Mridul- Runner up.
- c) Niharika, Simran- Qualified to adjudicate the final round. Led by Contingent Leader Rohan Desai and ACLs Pooja Thaker and Steffi Halder, SSE sure left its mark on Jai Hind, setting a benchmark for future competitions.
